This custom Viking axe starts as a raw piece of high-carbon steel. It takes hours of focused heat and sweat equity from a skilled blacksmith to shape it into a functional tool and a striking piece of display art.

We use traditional Norse techniques to hand-forge the blade. It is then fitted with your choice of oak, ash, or hickory. The balance is designed for real use, from processing kindling on a camping trip to serving as a centerpiece in your home or office.

Every axe in our shop is made to order. Because we build these by hand, we can tweak the materials, designs, and handle profiles to fit your exact requirements.
